"Behind the success of every small business there is a family"
A FAMILY TRADITION.
The Jacksons have been involved in the in dental lab profession for 3 generations. starting with Gene Jackson and the late Ansel Jackson (1945-2015). In 1980, Roger Jackson began working as a removable technician with his uncles (Gene and Ansel) in Florence, SC. Just a few years later he moved to middle Tennessee to take a job with a corporate dental office as an in house removable technician. Jackson worked for this company over the next 20 years taking his son David Jackson to work with him in the summer months. Roger opened up his own dental lab in 2006, when David graduated high school he began working with his dad full time at the lab and going to TN Technology Center at Nashville to study dental ceramics. In 2010, David graduated TTCN with a diploma in dental ceramics. Later that year, they added crown and bridge to their services, making them a full service dental lab. In August of 2012, Roger was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, he lost his battle a couple of months later. In October 2012, David incorporated Mid-South Dental Lab and took full ownership. |
